Bottom line: my experience with gold star we very good.  From start to finish. What I liked best was that they were more than willing to answer my questions and explain everything to me. They understood this is my home and were happy to explain things.  They were friendly, and they left the place in better condition than when they showed you. The long version: I could not be happier with the service that was provided.  I just happened to see my water heater leaking, picked one of the many services that came up in a Google search, and wow did I pick correctly.  At first they said they would he out the following afternoon but actually they found a window and fit me in like two hours after I initially called.  Tony showed up and did the inspection. He was great, he was very friendly and polite and he explained what was going on and what my option were.  The next morning richard and Jose showed up to install the unit.  They were courteous, polite, efficient.  They did an excellent job, they explained the plan, explained how writing worked, explained what the extra tank was for and how that helped to release the pressure off my main tank, they even left the place spotless when they left. I am writing to share my feedback regarding the excellent customer service I received recently from GOLD STAR Plumbing This was the third time I have used your company, and I remain very satisfied with the service you provide. In particular, I want to commend the service technician, Anthony Trujillo. He was very professional and took the time to explain everything step-by-step. May 2026: 1 year 7 clogs every other month and camera footage showing this repair required GokdStar to dig up, get a PERMIT (THEY SAID THEY Didn't NEED EVEN ON Recording). ROC requires by law you pay in full when your contract with a contractor is done and they say done. It's always interesting how you are treated after they are paid in full and have to come back under warranty and spend MUCH MORE than the original job was. All the way down from Mike Smith the owner his Son Dustin and his warranty crew who belittled me condescended me talked down to me told me all they were going to do is exactly what they had to do LEGALLY According TO ROC and trust me they did more to protect themselves from future warranty claims then they did to go ahead and protect me from future repairs and clogs. tbh: I dislike Parker and their Son's but feel Parker and Sons honors their work and contract above and beyond GoldStar Plumbers and I'd run from Anthony "Tony". Tony is incapable of repairing a sewer line and recommends an entire replacement. Tony is incapable of cleaning sludge from a laundry drain Eddy at universal drain was paid to clear it. Tony wanted to replace the entire yard line at my cost right! Just sludge from 69 years and it works great now! Tony cannot provide footage because he NEVER DID IT. Tony says on recording and says he'll try to get your yard line as flat as he can, says a new section of like for like sewer yard line NO require an inspection OR PERMIT and they pull it thru the cities not Tony. I have a contract that my whole yard line has fall. I had a contract that said they do a complete yard line inspection and provide me video. I was provided video from somebody else's drains Do you believe that folks somebody else's house they attach to my invoice that I paid for to have my house done. Fast forward they're telling me because they included the camera inspection they don't have to provide it there's no contract and now that we're fast forward a year and dealing with ROC trust me their attitude is changed their tone is changed and nobody in their right mind in the Arizona Valley or in Prescott or anywhere in Arizona would hire this small family-owned company that used to own Smitty's in mayor The antique store oh my God All my granddaddy's investment we're just a little company This is our first ROC complaint. Mike Smith wines a really good story but when it comes to actually doing the repairs his son goes ahead and only does what he has to do legally to walk away like a Melvin. You know the out of sight warranty. Ugh ugh ugh gross! When I think of this job, and it should be uh oh run Bob Run "Uhoh! We will take  care of you" Says Anthony from Gold Star as I finished explaining my neighbor's 1939 hot rod took off from across the street without him in it in first gear racing across and over my front yard cleanout bellying and crushing my yard line. I'd originally gotten inspections & estimates from Diamondback plumbing and Parker & Son's. I was able to have the trench excavated for 1/10th of what Gold Stars competition on top of this Paul with Gold Star gives me a free camera inspection and has Anthony replace my front line, add an additional clean out, and gets Rey to jet the entire line and then Anthony went thru and walked me thru the camera to each and every fixture's drain pipe to ensure it was clear and ready to use explained clearly what could be an issue in the future. He took time to explain to have the trench filled partially with sand along with Copper Sulfate to combat roots and stabilize the staked down newly installed line. Paul Navarrette and his helper was a great experience meeting these two and the price Paul wrote up and worked out for me included multiple camera inspections, complete hydro jetting, two new riser and clean outs and a yard of pipe with rebar and stakes I'm confident it'll last a lifetime especially since Anthony the sewer guy explained to use Sand when I backfill the trench and pipe. 8" of overfill sand added to the trench before backfilled as advised by Anthony

I’ve used Gold Star Plumbing twice now, and I truly can’t recommend them highly enough! Every experience has been fantastic—they’re professional, friendly, efficient, and always right on time. They take pride in their work, keep everything clean, and go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Jake L. came out to my home today and did an excellent job replacing all the emergency shut-off valves under my sinks and at each toilet, which had completely seized up over the years. He took the time to clearly explain everything, walked me through my options, and made sure I felt comfortable before starting the work. We have used Gold Star in the past being pleased with their prices and customer service. We ended up calling them again for a pipe that was leaking in our walls. Cody came out and was able to address the problem quickly and professionally. The price for the services was within our expected range and the job was done quickly and cleanly. Recently, Cody Morgan has been in my home checking and resolving the missing recycling indicator light on the Navien Tankless Water heater, fixing the low water pressure in my kitchen faucet, placing a whole house water pressure qauge to decrease readings from low 80's to preferred 65 psi and resolving heavy thumping sounds after each of 3 new Toto toilets filled when flushed. Cody is always friendly, always positive, obviously skilled, and makes sure I understand exactly what he is doing and why. Thank you Gold Star for sending him my way. I will be requesting Cody for all my future plumbing needs and highly recommend him (and the Gold Star Company) to anyone wanting a dedicated and honest plumbing specialist. Thank you, Cody!!
